Have you carried out transactions, in significant size, on the relevant market at an average frequency of 10 per quarter over the previous four quarters?
Does the value of your investment portfolio exceed €500,000?
Have you worked in the financial sector in a professional capacity for at least one year, which requires knowledge of the transactions or services envisaged?

What's the difference between a Retail Client and a Professional Client?
A Retail Client is subject to more restrictions than a Professional Client but receives more protections by law. A Professional Client may be exposed to higher risk, and therefore must act with greater responsibility and accountability, but receives access to more features than a Retail Client.

What happens if i don't qualify for a professional Client Status?
You will retain your Retail Client status, which is the default status for all Quantum Trade View users.
Retail Clients receive access to all our trading assets and can trade both manually or via Copy Trade (subject to suitability). However, Retail Clients’ leverage is restricted. Retail Clients receive certain protections such as coverage by the Investor Compensation Fund and recourse to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Furthermore, they receive negative balance protection and margin closeout restrictions.
Do I need a Quantum Trade View retail client account before i can apply for a Professional client account?
Yes. You must first open a a Standard Quantum Trade View Account before applying for Professional Client status. If you already have an account with us, and have checked your eligibility, you can apply for Professional Client status immediately.
